March 14: Join Me at a (Virtual) Book Festival!
Hello! The Virginia Festival of the Book is coming up, and while I won’t have the good fortune to be going to Charlottesville this year, I am participating in an online event hosted by 1455 Literary Arts.
“Writing in Your Life: Day by Day” will be a conversation with me, talking about some of the concepts from Our Endless and Proper Work, and Lisa Tener, a book writing couch and the author of The Joy of Writing Journal, which guides readers through a 30-day series of writing prompts designed to help them make writing a consistent habit.
As the official description from 1455 says, “This discussion is for anyone looking to take up writing, or be more inspired with current writing practices, not necessarily for publication, but because it can help you lead a happier, more whole and engaged life.” I hope you’ll be able to join Lisa and me—and our moderator, the poet and memoirist Sean Murphy—for what should be a lively talk.
1455 will host the event on Facebook Live Monday, March 14th at 7 p.m. Eastern. If you can’t make it then, I’m 99% positive that it will be available for viewing on 1455’s Facebook page soon after. I’ll be sure to share that link with everyone once it is!
Thanks—have a great weekend, and I hope to “see” some of you Monday night!
